From 1979 to 1983 resident in medical imaging (Strasbourg University, Besançon University, Fondation Ophtalmologique Rothschild in Paris, New England Medical School in Boston, Illinois University in Chicago).
From 1984 to 1988 : Associated Professor in medical imaging in Strasbourg University.
From 1988 to 1991 : Staff member in the Radiological Department of Hautepierre University Hospital, Strasbourg.
Professor of Medical Imaging in Strasbourg Medical University since 1992.
Head of the Radiological Department in ENT and Visceral Imaging since 2002.
President of the teaching commission in the second cycle of Strasbourg Medical University 1997-2001.
Head of Teaching Imaging in Strasbourg Medical School since 2006.
President of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology 1996-1998.
