Since 2001, Director of the Department of Radiology at the Research Hospital Policlinico San Donato, San Donato Milanese, Milano. Since 2009, Director of the European Network Assessment of Imaging in Medicine, joint initiative of the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research. Previously member of the Editorial Board of Eur Radiol, Radiol Med, Breast, Am J Roentgenol, Insights Imaging, Clin Transl Imaging, since 2016, is Editor-in-Chief of Eur Radiol Exp. Reviewer for over 60 medical journals, in 2021 has been awarded with the Platinum Level Reviewer Lifetime Achievement by Am J Roentgenol.
