Medical physicist, specialized in bone densitometry and Computed Tomography. In the ‘90s he was one of the main contributors to the development of the first commercial CBCT (QR srl-Verona). In the 2000s he was one of the promoters of ‘Pixirad Imaging Counter’, a spin-off of the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics specialized in the development and production of photon-counting sensors for radiological imaging. He is currently engaged in the design of CBCT systems for industrial and specialized medical applications. He is adjunct professor at the University of Verona.
