He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in June 1994. He obtained a certificate in Maxillofacial Surgery in February 2000 at the University of Milan.
He obtained a certificate in Orthognatodontics in November 2005 at the University of Milan.
Since December 2009 he has been Head of the Special Rehabilitation Surgery service at the Department of Dentistry (Director: Prof. E.F. Gherlone) of IRCCS San Raffaele in Milan and appointed holder of a teaching role of Special Rehabilitation Surgery at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
In January 2014 he obtained the national scientific qualification as a second level professor of odontostomatological diseases (MED/28).
From 2012 to 2016 adjunct professor of the Dental Hygiene MED/28 degree program, Surgical Science Course; Special rehabilitation surgery.
From 2015 to date, lecturer for the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics MED/28 degree program, Maxillofacial surgery course.
